June 2022 The annual Dine Around Downtown food festival, a Lower Manhattan tradition since 1997, will be held today (Tuesday, June 7), from 11am to 3pm, on Fosun Plaza, the 2.5 acre, open-air deck at 28 Liberty Street…
The Landmarks Preservation Commission approved a proposal for an adaptive reuse of the 28 Liberty plaza. There will be ground floor retail and major changes to the plaza that should bring a lot of it back to its former glory.
28 Liberty began demolition process for the 200,000 square feet of retail space. The project will replace a portion of the existing black granite walls at street level with glass facades to engage pedestrian traffic and open sight lines to create a more dynamic visual experience.
We are very excited to begin what will be just the first of many capital improvements you will see implemented at 28 Liberty over the next couple of years.
